"Blasphemy" is typically constituted via a "Breach" or "Break" of a "Sacred" Promise. Considering the fact that the Body itself is a "Temple [of God," blasphemy would include disrespect and even exploitation of.
The Mind is a communication device of the body - within and without, but it is typically contained within a brain. As a result of different aspects of life, and "living" [in general], the mind experiences different and varying degrees of trauma. The degrees and "illness" caused depends upon "what" [the trauma] and the SANITY of the individual.
The worst blasphemers experience what is known or classified by psychiatrists as "schizophrenia." A schizophrenic is "MIND" sick. The Mind has lost communication with the individual's Holy spirit and has been damned "wicked." A schizophrenic's life is spent trying to "cover up" his/her WICKED thoughts. Like: Dr. Jeckyl/Mr. Hyde...one SICK mind.
Mid-way "Mental" Illness is MIND TRAUMA. It is a "physical" mind INJURY, typically caused by HIGH IMPACT TRAUMA - and/or VERY LOUD continuous SOUND (such as bombs exploding, machine guns, or even the sound caused by such as building/street construction and maintenance machines and tools). Traumatic shock at this level is some degree of a "NERVE[ous] Breakdown." A breakdown of the very fragile communication impulses that take place in the brain.
The last and lowest level "Mental Illness" is a PHYSICAL "Body" Injury that was compounded by some sort of "mental" shock. Bi-Polar disorder, depression, mania are examples of resultant mental injury caused by physical injury. However, physical injury, it must be considered, includes (female) "Toxic Shock"/(male) "Blue Balls"; Rape; "Broken" Promises (like "marital vows") and also blasphemy against a "religion" (of GOD) wherein promises or vows were made.
Further expatiation on this subject can most probably be obtained through The American Psychological (?) Association, Washington, D.C. or through discussion with a qualified psychiatrist, psychoanalyst...or other M.D. with expertise in the field of psychology. The foregoing is based upon knowledge engifted unto this Author following 7 years/24/7 concentration in prayer to God, in an effort to understand "why" an inappropriate "diagnosis" of "mental illness" with no apparent cause, simply based upon the opinions of non-professionals and gross assumptions by angry "family members" and "friends."
