I am a Mormon, but I do have my squabbles with The Church. I believe, but I also think...about what God prefers (such a a healthier or healthiest body, which the Mormon's believe - "The Body is a TEMPLE...") yet also EVOLUTION...
The Mormon Scriptures mark a record of a particular point in time, but "...Time moves NOT backward, NOR TARRIES with yesterday..." So, I think, based upon what I have studied and learned since or in my own life past and upon mine own life journeys. "The ultimate measure of a man (or woman) is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy." - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
For example, the Mormon Doctrine and Covenants forbid the use/drinking of coffee. But, I say: What if I eat coffee BEANS? They would probably say, it's a BEAN...that's okay. So, I say: Then why can't I BREW coffee BEANS (or even GROUND coffee BEANS) to brew coffee?
The Mormon's do not prohibit CAFFEINE...but the beans, or coffee, was IN THE PAST used to heal SICK CATTLE...not HUMAN BEINGS. Well, what if the cattle were being used to safely to the cattle EXPERIMENT? Then, I mean. The findings were that IT HEALED! Well, the Mormon's are very strict...But I can approach my Bishop anytime...So here's my BIO-ENGINEERED coffee that MY OWN INSPIRATION from "The Spirit" has confirmed for me: Heal-thy Cafe au Lait:
